Special People Practicing Random Acts of Kindness

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – One Wabash Valley agency is putting the final touches on a big campaign.

The Special People Practicing Random Acts of Kindness, or SPPRAK for short, held a meeting Friday.

Group organizers plan to go all out in an event next month. It’s called Random Act of Kindness Day — which is February 17.

SPPRAK plans to hold an event at Arts Illiana with the focus on what kindness means to ‘you’.

“We live in a very fast paced world nowadays and people just forget the simple things that make things matter in some peoples’ lives and so just giving a compliment can entirely make somebody’s day, just doing an act of kindness can make someone’s day,” Robin Hang of SPPRAK said.

SPPRAK will celebrate the 16 through the 23 of February.
