TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The Indiana Department of Revenue wants to remind Hoosier tax filers about “INfreefile”. The Indiana Free File is a service provided by several tax agencies based on need. According to its web-site, here are a few guidelines that may qualify a filer for free file. “Your adjusted gross income is $30,000 or less, You qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit, You are active duty military with an adjusted gross income of $58,000 or less.”

The federal government is expected to begin looking at filed taxes January 31. The Deadline to file is April 15.
