Two arrested on multiple drug related charges

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Just before 8:30 Thursday morning, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers investigated the residence at 3202 North 23rd Street in Terre Haute.

After a week and a half of investigating, Troopers searched the residence on possible meth related activities.

Matthew E. Buell, 35 of Terre Haute, and Kimberly M. Kozik, 36 of Terre Haute, were arrested on multiple charges.

Officials state they were able to locate an active ‘one pot’ meth lab and remances of multiple other ‘one pot’ meth labs.

They also located approximately five grams of methamphetamine, approximately six grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, an assortment of narcotic pills and items used in manufacturing and distributing methamphetamine.

The home and garage had also been equipped with a surveillance system allowing the suspects to monitor the property.

Both face charges of manufacturing methamphetamine within 1000 feet of a daycare or preschool, possession of methamphetamine, possession of precursors, dumping controlled waste, possession of schedule 1, 2 or 3 controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana.
