FAFSA Forms help available

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Those tricky, often intimidating college financial aid forms are taken seriously enough that Ivy Tech Community College will be offering a two-hour session later this month for free face-to-face assistance filling out the application.

“We have over 100 computers available,” said Julie Wonderlin, director of financial aid at Ivy Tech. “They will come in, they will do their FAFSA, just like they would do at home but they’ve got somebody there in the room that’s an expert that’s going to be there to help them if they have questions!”

Wonderlin added, “Anybody can come! It’s for any college you’re going to! You could be going to one in California, that’s OK! They don’t necessarily have the March 10th deadline, but we’re still there to help out!”

College Goal Sunday is set for Sunday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ivy Tech Terre Haute campus. The event will be held inside Oakley Auditorium, and is in no way restricted to Ivy Tech students.
