TH street dept. responds well to weather

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Some of have praised the hard work of the Terre Haute Street Department as they’ve been plowing streets since 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Many complimented how most main streets are clear.

New 10 asked the city’s transportation director what was different about this storm as opposed to others.

“The last time during the storm, we had more snow, and it was a heck of a lot colder,” Brad Miller said. “This time we got less snow and it was in the mid 20’s the whole time.”

The street department plans to stop plowing streets at 7 tonight to rest crews to then resume work in the morning.
