Vigo County mumps case not spreading

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – There is still only one case of mumps reported to the Vigo County Health Department.

In just a couple of weeks, the incubation period for that case will end.

The health department says incubation for mumps is 25 days after the last probable case.

That date is March 7th.

A student at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology contracted mumps at a party, but other students at the party tested negative.
