Police shut down Terre Haute meth operation

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Five people are behind bars after a multi-agency drug bust in Vigo County.

On Saturday, Indiana State Police, with help from the DEA and the Vigo County Drug Task Force wrapped up a four month investigation that authorities say dismantled a meth organization based in Terre Haute.

Police arrested 35 year old Marcus Pizzola, 32 year old Stacy Holden, 54 year old Robert Richey Sr., 42 year old Steven Scank and 48 year old Jon Bryan.

Police say Pizzola was transporting meth and marijuana from Atlanta, GA into Vigo County.

During the investigation, police found that over the last eight months, Pizzola distributed over 50 pounds of meth locally, with a value of $1.1 million.

All five were charged with dealing meth, and are being held in the Vigo County Jail.
