Indiana Youth Institute working for change

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – One Indiana organization wants to help Hoosier kids succeed in life.

A recent study conducted by Harvard University found economic advancement across the county is quite stable; however, that is not the case for children born in poverty.

Research shows many Indiana cities, including Terre Haute, are below the national median for the economic mobility of kids living below the poverty line.

The Indiana Youth Institute works to change that and officials say there are many things that could help.
