Trial date set for murder case

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A trial date has been set for a local woman accused of murder.

Amber Reynolds, Marteail Brewer and Damien Tyler face multiple charges, the largest of which is felony murder.

That is after the death of their reported accomplice to a planned robbery.

Police say those three, along with Ronald Arrowsmith, who was killed, lured Cody Thompson to a house on First Avenue in Terre Haute.

They say Arrowsmith pointed a gun at Thompson’s girlfriend, and that’s when Thompson allegedly shot him multiple times.

Police consider the shooting self defense.

Reynolds and Brewer’s trial date is set for May 12th. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
