(TERRE HAUTE, Ind) – J. Ford’s Black Angus is excited to announce a front of the house renovation the first 2 weeks of April. The restaurant will be closed during that time to handle the complete makeover of the facility. The majority of the improvements will take place in the bar area with a new front and back bar being custom built, hardwood floors and a granite bar top. The dining room will have new carpet, paint, table tops and additional decorative features.
The Fords bought The Black Angus restaurant in August of 2007 and completely remodeled the building and reintroduced the restaurant as J. Ford’s Black Angus. Jeff and Kelly feel like it is time to update the look of the steakhouse to reflect a more sophisticated and modern look. The location has always been utilized for a restaurant since 1965, and the building has housed a steakhouse since the early 1980’s.
J. Ford’s plans on re-opening Tuesday, April 15th. Recently the wine list has more than doubled in size. They will add a new bar menu featuring a ‘bar only’ item unique to each day of the week. We hope this will attract current fans to come check out the new look and also attract new customers curious to see what J. Ford’s has to offer.
