Man admits to injuring 7-month-old

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A man admits to playing at least some role in injuring a 7 month old baby.

Regional Hospital called Terre Haute Police after the child came to them with signs of near-strangulation and suffocation.

Police booked 30-year-old Alan Jackson into the Vigo County Jail shortly after midnight.

He lives with the child’s mother, who is his fiancé. The child is at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Jackson will return to court Thursday where he could face charges of neglect of a dependent, aggravated battery and strangulation.
