Indiana State fell 91-71 to Arkansas in the first round of the NIT Tuesday night.

After a slow start the Sycamores came back to tie the game in the first half. A small Arkansas mini-run at the end of the first 20 minutes put ISU in a five point halftime hole.

Things got worse from there in the second half. Arkansas stretched the lead out to 18 about halfway through the half. Jake Odum did connect on a three point shot to pull the Sycamores within 8 with more than 6 minutes left to play.

That was as close as they would get. Anthlon Bell led the Razorbacks with 28 points. Manny Arop led the Sycamores with 12 points. Jake Odum and Dawon Cummings added 10 apiece in their last game in an ISU uniform.

Indiana State finishes the season with a 23-11 record. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
