WVCF employee arrested on drug charges

CARLISLE, Ind. (WTHI) – An employee at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility was arrested on Thursday for drug possession.

Jill Phillips, 30 of Vigo County, worked in the main food production kitchen at the facility.

Officials found .3 grams of marijuana inside Phillip’s vehicle during a search by WVCF Correctional Police Officers. Phillips faces a preliminary charge of possession of marijuana.

She was taken to the Sullivan County Jail with a bond set at $4,000.
