Clay County to roll out voting centers

CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – Count Clay County, Indiana among the Hoosier Counties who will use voting centers in the May primary election.

Clay County voters can utilize one of eight voting centers, which will be located throughout the county on Election Day.

Satellite voting will also be offered in Cory and Bowling Green during the absentee voting period.

Clay County’s clerk says the move will save taxpayers and add convenience to voters.

“It’s on their way to work or from work, so they don’t have to travel many more miles just to go vote,” Clay County Clerk Victoria Wheeler said.
