Sentencing in Illinois ‘murder for hire’ case

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ill. (WTHI) – The final sentence has been heard in a Lawrence County, Ill. ‘murder-for-hire’ case.

Helen Westall plead guilty to paying a man $10,000 to murder her uncle. That murder happened two years ago yesterday.

On Tuesday in an Illinois courtroom, Westall was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

A few months ago, Tyler McQueen received a 50 year sentenced after a jury found him guilty.
