Rolls-Royce acid spill leaves nine injured

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — At least six people were injured when nitric acid was released at Rolls-Royce Friday afternoon during an explosion, fire officials said.

The incident happened at the facility, 2355 S. Tibbs Ave., around 1:30 p.m. Fire officials said there was an explosion involving a 250-gallon nitric acid tank.
