Vikings pay tribute to former player

Barr-Reeve couldn’t pull off the victory in the state finals on Saturday, but the season was much bigger than that.

2013 graduate Brandon Wagler died in a car accident in September. He was a former basketball player, and huge part of the Viking family.

Recently, head coach Bryan Hughes presented Brandon’s jersey to his younger brother Jacob. Jacob wore that jersey to the state finals, creating an emotional moment for such a tight knit group.
