A native of Paris, Illinois, and now one of country music’s newest sensations, Brett Eldredge is up for ‘New Artist of the Year’ for the American Country Music Awards.

News 10 had a chance to interview the singer songwriter via Skype.

“To be up for new artist of the year and be one of the 3 finalists and have a shot at winning this thing is something that’s really special to share with the fans, just getting this far,” Eldredge said.
