Alia Blackburn started at WTHI-TV in November 2013. She is currently the weekday MyFOX10 Producer and Reporter for the station.

Alia followed the Bill Cosby controversy when it first began. The entertainer was slated to speak at Indiana State University in March 2014. His scheduled visit caused outrage among different groups of people throughout the community, especially students.

The story gave university officials a chance to explain their role in Cosby’s appearance at the school, as well as hear the concerns of people in the community.

Alia is from Indianapolis, Indiana. She went to college at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in both Telecommunications and Journalism.

When not at work, Alia loves to spend time with family and close friends. She also loves football (Go Ravens!), traveling, shopping, singing and exploring different restaurants/foods.
