TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A News 10 Crew was at the scene of an overturned Honey Creek Fire Department fire truck near the intersection of Dallas and Carlisle in Vigo County.

The truck was returning back from a training session when the wet road became a problem and caused the truck to roll on its side.

No injuries were reported and all were wearing their seat belts.

The Assistant Fire Chief stated that fire trucks, just like any other vehicle, do not handle well in weather like this.

That stretch of road will be closed until the scene can be cleaned up. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
