Vincennes PD seizes nine pounds of marijuana

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – On Friday just after 9:30 a.m., the Vincennes Police Department made an arrest after locating nine pounds of marijuana.

Officials responded to the 600 Block of N. 1st Street after receiving a complaint of illegal drugs sales being made. After obtaining consent, officers searched the residence and the property.

They located nine pounds of marijuana packaged in varying increments.

The Vincennes Police Depart arrested Lance D. Mallett, 36 of Vincennes.

He faces possible charges of dealing marijuana, maintaining a commons nuisance, and two counts of neglect of a dependent child.

Mallett was taken to the Knox County Jail on $6,500 bond.
