Two arrests made in teen murder

WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTHI) – Two Wabash Valley men are behind bars in connection to the shooting death of a teenager.

Police arrested 29-year-old Donal Krutchen and 28-year-old Craig Streete.

Authorities say both men played a part in the death of 17-year-old Devan Burris.

The incident happened in Washington, Indiana in December of last year.

Investigators believe a drug deal gone wrong led to Burris’ death.

Krutchen faces several charges including murder.

Streete is charged with Robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and conspiracy to commit robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.

Logan Evans and Lucas Benjamin also faced charges in this case.

Evans pleaded guilty to murder, while Benjamin pleaded guilty last month to dealing meth and assisting a criminal. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
