Manhunt continues in Robinson

ROBINSON, Ill. (WTHI) – Police continue their search for a man who led them on a man hunt.

At around 8 a.m. Monday, Robinson police attempted to pull over a man suspected of driving drunk.    The pursuit lasted roughly ten minutes, but when the suspect abandoned his vehicle, the chase turned into a six hour man hunt.

Police stated Jason Shadlee of Flora, Ill. is the suspected drunk driver. Officials combed a wooded area and set up a perimeter in that area.

But after six hours, the K-9 units lost the scent without finding any trails of the driver.
