TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A Terre Haute company has announced lay-offs.
On Tuesday, 11 employees at the Novelis plant in northern Terre Haute were notified they would be losing their jobs.
The company will also let some of its equipment go idle.
A Novelis representative told News 10 the reason for the lay-offs is because they are losing market share due to lower cost imports.
Novelis specializes in rolled aluminum products.
