‘Guys Who Give’ already making community impact

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – ‘Guys Who Give’ are certainly living up to their title.

The Terre Haute organization handed over their first donation to the Vigo County Education Foundation.

Just over $13,000 was presented to the foundation to go toward the future of education in our community.

‘Guys Who Give’ member Tom Newlin said it’s the first of many donations to come.

“$100 is a lot of money from each individual but when you put it together that’s $13,200 – that is a significant impact on a charity and we are excited to do that on a quarterly basis from here on out,” Newlin said.

‘Guys Who Give’ will hold three more annual donations that will be distributed throughout the year.

Donations will go to a variety of non-profit community charities that receive the most votes by the ‘Guys Who Give’ organization.
