Suspects sought after breaking into vending machines

CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ill. (WTHI) – The Robinson Police Department and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department are asking for help locating suspects responsible for breaking into vending machines.

Officials reported early Thursday morning several pop vending machines were broken into and change was taken in Crawford County, Ill. Machines were also broken into in the cities/villages of Hutsonville, Robinson and Oblong.

Cameras in businesses were able to catch the two suspects on camera; a male and a female. The vehicle used is a newer model silver GMC Envoy with a sunroof.

The suspects have also entered machines in surrounding counties over the past week including Sullivan, Ind., Clark, Ill., Jasper, Ill. and Olney, Ill. and possibly Effingham County.
