Habitat for Humanity presents check to Catholic Charities

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – On Friday, Habitat for Humanity presented a check to Terre Haute Catholic Charities for $15,000.

Catholic Charities brought a donor who gave a house to Habitat for Humanity who were able to remodel the home and sell it.

So, Habitat decided to share the wealth and donate towards the Catholic Charities food bank.

“Food and housing are two really important organizations in the community,” said Annette Houchin, Habitat for Humanity. “And what a great way to take something that a donor has given us and work together to make some money for both organizations.”

This is the first time that both organizations were able to help one another with the same donation.
