Volunteers say clean-up efforts beautify the environment and preserve homes for animals.

“We only have one world, the earth, and if we don’t take care of it, it’s not going to be here for us. We can’t just keep taking and taking, we have to give back,” said Adeline Dible, club president.

There were more than 120 student volunteers out on Saturday making it the largest effort so far. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
