Patriot Riders honor Vigo Co. Sheriff’s Dept.

An organization known for defending the grieving said said thanks to a local sheriff’s department. You’ve seen the Patriot Riders in action.

It’s a group of motorcyclists who show up at military funerals around the country. Their goal is to help the grieving families.

Monday, the organization sent a representative to meet up with Vigo County Sheriff Greg Ewing. He presented the sheriff with a plaque. That plaque thanked Sheriff Ewing and the Vigo County Sheriff’s department for aiding their group.

“So they pretty much give us a safety screen there to help us. [They] keep us safe and our riders safe,” Jerome Shouse from the Patriot Riders said.
