TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The Terre Haute Noon Optimist Club is holding their 22nd annual Jonah Fish Fry.

The event is this Friday at the VFW Post 972 starting at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $7.50 if you purchase them in advance and $9 at the door. Food will be available for both dine-in and carry out.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local children

“Our biggest project within our club is the annual Clothe-A-Child.  That’s in December,” said Bill Weatherman, vice president, Terre Haute Noon Optimist Club. “But during the year we support many youth activities.  Police academy, essay contests, various things of this sort.”
