Fathers drawing awareness for March of Dimes

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Fathers of premature babies spent Saturday morning drawing awareness by painting the March of Dimes logo at the intersection of Ohio and Brown in Terre Haute.

One of the organizers started working with the March of Dimes after his twins were born early.

Saturday morning, the twins helped their dad paint the road for other preemies in the Wabash Valley.

“Everyone has a story to tell and our twins were born at twenty-eight weeks so we wanted to do something to give back to March of Dimes,” said Matt Lindsey, organizer. “It’s a wonderful organization, and fortunately, our story turned out wonderfully. You can see our twins here, painting the road today as something they can do for the community.”

The Vigo County March of Dimes walk is next week on Saturday morning.
