Dine Out for the American Red Cross

WABASH VALLEY, Ind. (WTHI) – Thinking about going out for dinner? While enjoying your meal you will also be donating to a good cause.

All day tomorrow is the Dine out for the Red Cross event. Select restaurants in the area will donate part of their proceeds to support the Red Cross.

Participating restaurants in Terre Haute include Bagger Dave’s, Clabber Girl Bake Shop, Buffalo Wild Wings, Copper Bar and Rick’s Smokehouse.

Proceeds will go directly to the Red Cross’ Save the Day campaign – $0.91 of every dollar goes towards direct services in the Wabash Valley.

“The Red Cross is funded by the generosity of its donors. Events like this help people do things like going out like you would do on a Wednesday evening, but doing it for a cause,” said Nikki Wessley, Wabash Valley American Red Cross. “Whenever you go out to eat you want to support a restaurant that is supporting a wonderful organization in our community.”

For a complete list of other participating restaurants, visit the American Red Cross website.
