WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – The man accused of killing 21-year-old Andrew Boldt on Purdue’s campus in January wants a new attorney.

Cody Cousins’ attorney Robert Gevers filed a motion to withdraw appearance on behalf of Cousins Monday. On Tuesday, an order denying the request was entered until a substitute attorney is chosen. Cousins, 24, is being held in the Tippecanoe County jail without bond.

He is set to head to trial in October 6, 2014. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
