TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Junior Achievement of the Wabash Valley is saluting 50 years.
Junior Achievement brings volunteers from the community face to face with local students.
The goal is to challenge students to excel.
On Thursday, the organization held a ceremony at the Ohio Building in Terre Haute.
Seven people were inducted into the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame.
Officials say all inductees are well deserving.
“We serve over 4,500 children this year in the Wabash Valley. Eight or nine counties, we touch some in Illinois all through Vigo County, Clay others it’s really we’ve grown we are stronger than ever. And we’re really excited about the next year to come,” Marc Evan, from the Junior Achievement of the Wabash Valley said.
This is the 12th year for the Hall of Fame ceremony.
