TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – It was all about the babies on Saturday morning at the Indiana State University Memorial Stadium.

Hundreds from the Wabash Valley came together to support the March of Dimes walk. There was great weather to match a great cause – supporting strong and healthy babies!

Even News 10 got in on the action!

There was a great turn out and all of the hard work and money raised will not go to waste.

“We start with looking at the issues of prematurity… 1 out of 9 babies in Indiana are born prematurely. That’s a lot – 1 out of 9. So we have a lot of work to do,” said Nikki Simpson. “So we take that money and put it to work funding research, education and programs within our own community so we can better the outcome for moms and babies.”
