Lawrenceville woman competes for ‘Voice of McDonalds’ title

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – As part of her continued success, Ashlae Nelms, a Lawrenceville native will compete Thursday night to become the voice of McDonalds. Nelms, who is a Purdue University student spoke to News 10 via telephone Thursday afternoon.

“And so tonight is just whatever the judges are looking for, that’s what, that’s what will happen. I’m really excited. I’m just ready for, I’m just ready. you know, I don’t do waiting,” said Nelms.

Nelms is the only American competitor left in the Voice of McDonalds Challenge. If selected as the winner, she’ll represent the restaurant, as a vocal artist.
