Next step for Dugger Community School Corporation


DUGGER, Ind. (WTHI) – Dugger parents are angry with the Indiana Charter School Board after they denied the Dugger Community School Corporation from have a charter school.

Since the announcement that Dugger Union high school will close, the community has fought to keep it open.

Since last winter they’ve worked to become a charter school but on Thursday the Charter School Board voted four to one to deny Dugger a charter.

As of right now, the high school students will have to go elsewhere next school year.
