TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A local organization plans to expand and offer more help to addicts but first, they needed a little help of their own.
Wabash Valley Teen Challenge hosted a fish fry Saturday to raise much needed funds.
The organization is a live-in drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. They’re looking to buy another building to expand their program.
Organizers appreciate the community support for this worthy cause.
“They’re helping people who are addicted to cocaine, meth, heroin, life-controlling issues. There are people that want help and they can’t help themselves and teen challenge is the answer,” said Time Foster, executive director.
They’re working to raise more $100,000 for that expansion project.
