Agreement made in wall debate

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A near five year process is finally over for one Wabash Valley subdivision.

An agreement is in place between Viscaya Pointe and the developers of Cobblestone Crossing to construct an eight foot wall between the two.

The wall will be 644 feet in length and built similarly to the one between Cobblestone and Woodgate.

The agreement will settle a lawsuit filed by Cobblestone Developers and the Area Plan Commission.

It also appeases Viscaya Pointe Residents.

“I feel like it was a fair decision that we came to. It was all mutual. As far as how we worked it all out, it was handled professionally, and I’m glad to see that it’s done,” Viscaya Pointe resident Stacy Gough said.

The agreement will go before the Area Plan Commission on Wednesday. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
