TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Many of you ask us about new buildings going up or changing around your neighborhood. Many of those buildings are restaurants. Foundation work has started at 3rd and Springhill in Terre Haute. That site will be the future home of Chedders. Also on the south side, Golden Corral is under new ownership, crews have begun working on the exterior of the restaurant. Moe’s Southwest Grill suffered a building set back more than a year ago. Since then, the multi-store location rebuilt and work on the parking area continues. The Terre Haute location is listed on Moe’s website as coming soon. Locally, Wise Pies opened their second location not long ago, this one is at an old auto shop on 3rd and Margaret. The original Wise Pies is in downtown Terre Haute. So far, business on the south end is keeping the family owned pizza shop pretty busy.
