TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – 5/8 UPDATE: Terre Haute Police Department responded to 1932 8th Avenue on reports of a stabbing.
Officers found a male in the back yard with what appeared to be a cut to his abdomen. Charles R. Booker was taken in for questioning and was later arrested.
The injured male was taken to a hospital out of the area for treatment.
Statements indicate that an argument over a stolen moped may have been what precipitated the incident.
Booker was charged with aggravated battery.
His bond is set at $75,000 and he is scheduled to be in court on May 13.
News 10 has learned that an arrest has been made in a Wednesday evening stabbing in Terre Haute.
It happened at a home on 8th Avenue.
Police still are not releasing much information on the arrest, but we’re told the suspect was found in the backyard of the home.
The victim was taken to an out of area hospital.
