Curtains up on new theater performance


TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Friday will be opening night at Community Theater of Terre Haute, and this musical is something a little bit different.

The show is called “Taking my Turn,” and it takes a look at some of the concerns of growing older.

The characters include a retired school teacher, a railroad steward, and a widow who is a woman of means.

News 10 found the cast hard at work during the rehearsal this week.

The cast will be will be in costumes and makeup, ready for audiences at their 8:00 curtain.

They have six performances over the next two weekends.
