Police asking for your help in arson cases

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Police are currently following up on leads in a string of suspicious fires in Terre Haute, and are asking for your help.

Fire officials responded to a garage fire on 22nd Street and Second Avenue just over a week ago.

This isn’t the first garage fire that has sparked in the area.

In the past three months, three fires have been set, all within a three block radius between First and Third Avenue.

All three have been classified as arson.

Fire officials are following up on numerous tips, but they are asking you to keep your eyes open.

If you notice anything suspicious or have any information pertaining to the fires, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers (812) 238-STOP.
