Free ‘shred day’ hosted in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A free shred day was offered by Data Management Shredding on Saturday.

This was a way for the community to safely get rid of important or sensitive paperwork. And not to mention avoiding identity theft!

“Make sure your personal information does not get into the wrong hands. And in doing so, we shred and recycle everything that we handle,” said Andrew Southard, general manager of Data Management Shredding.

The shredding company teamed up with Union Hospital, the Terre Haute Police Department and Trees, Inc. to provide this free service to the community. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
