“Legends Day” to honor Mario Andretti

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A racing icon will be honored on Saturday during “Legends Day.”

Mario Andretti will be honored in celebration of the 45th anniversary of his Indianapolis 500 victory. Andretti will take part in a question-and-answer session for fans on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Pagoda Plaza Stage at 3 p.m.

Andretti was the pole winner at Indianapolis in 1966, 1967 and 1987.

IMS “Legends Day Honoring Mario Andretti” is $10 for adults children 12 and under are free.
