Indiana Blood Center needing donations, unable to fill hospital orders

INDIANA (WTHI) – Over Memorial Day weekend one Indiana hospital alone required 40 additional units of blood to teat an injured four-year-old.

And then on Tuesday the highest number of total units was needed by Indiana hospitals this year. On Wednesday, the Indiana Blood Center was unable to fill 105 hospital orders.
