VPD seeking suspect after shooting incident at Alice & Woody’s Tavern

VINCENNES, Ind. (WTHI) – Vincennes Police say they have a suspect of interest following a shooting incident at Alice & Woody’s Tavern.

Police were called to the tavern on Washington Avenue before 1 a.m. on Tuesday.

Investigators state a person inside the tavern became disorderly and was asked to leave the establishment.

A short time later, the subject returned, and was again removed from the establishment, according to police.

Police say the suspect returned and fired several shots towards two men standing outside. One man received an injury to the hand as a result of the gun fire, police say, he was treated and released.

A vehicle parked nearby the business also sustained damage in the incident.

Authorities are not releasing the suspect’s name, nor if any arrests have been made in the incident.
