TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Indiana Blood Center encouraging you to come out, raise your sleeves and donate blood.
Low blood supply is becoming an issue at the center.
High schools make up most of that supply.
Now that school is letting out it makes it harder on blood centers to keep their supply at an adequate amount.
That’s where you come in to donate
“It’s really not a lot out of a person’s day to come in and do it, and it makes you feel very good, and it’s also healthy for you,” Kylee Woods from the Blood Center said.
The Indiana Blood Center supplies 60 hospitals across the Hoosier state.
