Two arrested after victim dies

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – An autopsy Tuesday morning could lead to new charges in an aggravated battery case.

Christopher Pine and James Shafer were arrested on battery charges from an incident in December 2013.

According to court documents, an argument became physical and Jeremy Salesman, Sr. stepped in to break it up.

Salesman was reportedly punched and kicked multiple times. Salesman, Sr. died on May 31st.

This is being called a death related to traumatic injury by the coroner’s office.
