Parking concerns for downtown Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Parking concerns grow as downtown Terre Haute continues to expand.

On Tuesday a group of downtown merchants and business owners listened to alternative parking options for visitors.

Currently, the Sky Garden Parking Garage on Ohio and 7th is only at a 50 percent capacity. The manager of the facility says street parking may become more congested with the development of the new student housing.

Merchants want to raise awareness for the parking garage and ask customers to utilize the space.
